Besides the intended user tasks, the user and his/her properties, mindset, and disposition have a major influence on the ui design. UI fragment properties of the user category help to provide a record about the user the ui fragment developer had in mind. Moreover and especially the properties of this category are designed in order to be understandable by the later user him-/herself. This way, users are enabled to optimize their user interface on their own without the need of an expert who needs to perform user assessments. Subcategories are divided into basic cognitive properties, basic physical properties, use limitations that are supported by the ui fragment, equipment that is at the user's disposal, and other design process documentation that cannot be further formalized.
