The organization environment is constituted by the legal entity that runs the (production) system that is represented and controlled by means of the uis. The organization determines the work processes and tasks of its staff, and thus the tasks that will be conducted by utilizing the uis. Moreover, design guidelines and other requirements of the ui representation and interaction design are defined by the organization. Probably, the design properties can be considered the most important properties in this category since ui solutions are required to provide a consistent design (using equal symbolics, codes, etc.) within a well defined industrial context such as a production plant.
